Today, with @rustoleum’s help, we’re officially unveiling a recently renovated court at @provhousecle – complete with new hoop and new paint for the court, surrounding sidewalk, bench and fence! As an added surprise, we presented a $10,000 check for their Children’s Educational Enrichment Program to help support lessons, activities, field trips, developmental milestones, school readiness and positive exposure to the community. “For our children it’s so important because they don’t have a safe place to play in their communities. Thank you for all the joy, and fun, and safety that you bring to our children.” — Providence House CEO & President, Natalie Leek-Nelson
Providence House protects at-risk children (newborn through twelve years old) and supports families through crisis, strengthening communities to end child abuse and neglect. They are Ohio’s first and one of the nation’s longest operating crisis nurseries. Providence House has cared and advocated for 8,000 children and families throughout their 37-year history, including more than 300 children last year alone.
Now, just in time for warmer weather, these kids will have a shiny space to play ALL summer long!

“It’s been a great week. Not a good week. A great week.
We’re going to put no labels on our team. Every day we’re just going to grow a little bit more.
I love the young roster. I love the draft picks and the potential we have for flexibility in the future.
Rebuild is not going to be a word we are gonna use here. It’s a Renaissance.
Through trial and error we will find what works for us. The opportunity and challenges will go hand in hand. In time we’ll get it done. I’m so grateful (to be here because) it really allows me to do what I love.” — Head Coach John Beilein
“This is an incredible, incredible human being. You feel it in his presence. This is what we want: we wanted a cultural driver and a leader. We wanted a teacher. We wanted an innovator, someone who can adapt on the fly. We want an incredible communicator. And we wanted someone who embraced analytics. John Beilein checked all those boxes (for us). On top of his incredible track record and player development (experience), we are beyond excited. We talk about it all the time. From the coaching staff to our players and staff, we want (those with a) great attitude and work ethic. Those who embrace Cleveland. Please join me in welcoming our new Head Coach, John Beilein.” — Koby Altman
“John Beilein develops young players and has an instant bond with the players. Koby and his team ended up selecting John Beilein which I think is the best choice for the Cavaliers. His experience and what he brings he’s — authentic, charismatic, warm. He’s direct, tough and honest. All of the things you would want in a Head Coach.” — Dan Gilbert
