The #MakarskaRiviera boasts some of the best #beaches 🏖 in the world 🗺 and #cruising the #coastline with #boat 🛥 is the best way to see it. 😍 Tag a friend 👫 you'd like to chillin' around with one of these with! Makarska is nestled at the base of Biokovo, the second largest mountain range in #Croatia, at 1762m above sea level. It has a population of over 15,000 and a stunning 2 km stretch of crystal clear pebble beach that is lined with pine 🏝 trees, #luxury hotels, ☕ café’s, 🍹 bars and shops. All of that comes with breathtaking views of the islands of #Hvar and Brač. Between the pristine crystal clear 🌊 waters, islands at its doorstep and the stunning Mountain of Biokovo it is understandable why #Makarska achieved its notoriety and became a favourite 📍spot amongst tourists and locals. . 📸: @matkobegovicphotography . #croatiafulloflife #kroatien #hrvatska #Kroatia #クロアチア #克罗地亚 #Хорватия #chorwacja #croazia

Have you ever visited Vis? 😍 Tag a friend you'd like to sit in this #purple beauty with and go for a ride around Vis. 🇭🇷 . If you are looking for unspoiled #nature, great beaches, a stunning underwater world, interesting history and great local cuisine; #Vis offers a little bit for everyone. Spend your morning hiking and then retire to the beach in the afternoon. Overall, it is more authentic and laid back compared to what you can experience in #Dalmatia. Plus, #island Vis is really very #photogenic. No wonder it was chosen as a shooting location for Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!, the sequel which is coming nearly two years after the first one. The original Greek island has been overdeveloped and changed so much that it was no longer possible to shoot there. 📸: @vilim__stojkovic

The #Golubinka Cave is situated on the southern shores of  #DugiOtok, west of the Brbinjšćica Bay, where it is also best to anchor the boat even when the sea is calm. It is characterized by a long entry, which can be passed by swimming 🏊‍♂️ or a very narrow boat 🚣‍♀️ but it is recommended that you head down to the bottom of the #cave swimming, equipped with a #diving mask. Thanks to the #natural light that comes through the open ceiling at its far end, an abundance of underwater fauna awaits you in the seemingly karst tunnel which opens into a lovely small hall at its end. Sail into an #oasis of peace. 📸: @toni_opacic

Good morning from #Vinjerac. 🗺 If you are a photography lover, but also someone who wants to run away from crowded #streets during the summer - this is a perfect location for you! 👌🏻😁 This small place will mesmerize you with #beautiful #blue #water, lovely local people, charming church and also a small distance from the popular #city of #Zadar! 🌊🌤 In @svenbulava new vlog, you’ll be able to see some amazing #drone footage from Vinjerac! 😁🙌🏻

The oldest national park in #Croatia – Plitvička jezera (Plitvice Lakes) – is open whole year, so any time you come to our country, you’ll be able to visit this extraordinary scenery rich in natural beauty. Located in central Croatia, between Zagreb and the Adriatic coast, #Plitvice Lakes are one of the favorite spots for weekend holidays by locals, but also for tourists that are coming from abroad. 📸: @antenorefabio

VRNIK – a tiny inhabited island in the Korcula archipelago, easily reached by taxi-boats from  #Korcula East harbour and from  #Lumbarda (timetables are here) It is well known for its deep stone quarries dating back from Roman times. #Vrnik is worth to go and visit during the day as it has a lot of secluded small swimming spots where water is so blue and clear as well as a lot of pine trees on the eastern side of the island, where one can enjoy the shade on the hot summer days. 〰️ 📸: @thenewwifey

Would you like to be here now? 🤩 The first thing you will notice is that #Trogir is built on a small islet located between the Croatian mainland and the island of Ciovo. The islet is only 500m long and 250 m wide. To access Trogir walk across the bridge which will lead you into the town through the north gate (built around 1656) Look up and you will see a statue of the patron saint of Trogir – bishop John. It takes about 30 minutes to walk around Trogir. Stop and admire the beautiful buildings and architecture as you stroll around. Although Trogir is only small it is easy to get lost in the narrow alleyways – we did! The architecture of all the buildings in Trogir is stunning with so many beautiful balconies, squares, palaces and alleyways. 〰️ 📸: @blogdepauline

Name your forest bathing buddy 🚿🌳 you'd like to visit Plitvice with. 😉👍 〰️ #Plitvice Lakes is one of the most unique places to visit in #Croatia. With easy walking trails, boardwalks suspended over the #turquoise #water, stunning viewpoints, and photogenic #waterfalls, this is the type of place that is perfect for visitors of all ages. With different levels of #lakes, four different #hiking trails, seven routes through the park, and two different entrances, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out how to spend your time here. 〰️ 📸: @cherrys.picks

Did you ever meet a sunset 🌅 you didn't like? 🤔 〰️ Betina is a settlement at the northeast coast of the island of Murter which is connected to the mainland with a drawbridge in Tisno. It is located 35km west of Šibenik. Administratively, it belongs to the municipality of Tisno. It has about 800 inhabitants. The name Betina comes from a Celtic word «bet» which means – mouth and it describes the look of the naturally formed harbour Betina which, just like the mouth, protects the boats from gusts of wind. The name is also symbolic due to the fact that, throughout history, Betina was called «the mouth of the Šibenik area», due to fertile fields «Poje» of Betina, primarily abundant in olives and figs as well as in vegetables which fed the whole area. 〰️ 📸: @photozsoft

Do you need six months of vacations twice a year? 🤣 Tag a #bff you'd like to walk around Ston streets with. 🏖🌞🏝 〰️ 🇭🇷 Follow us ✔ and be sure to mention @Croatia in caption sentence on your #Croatia photos! 🌴 Share your adventure with us! 😍👍 〰️ The under-visited Ston and its neighbour Mali Ston on the Peljesac peninsula are a great escape from the standard southern Dalmatia tourist route. About 59km northwest of Dubrovnik, there are no big resorts or luxury hotels in Ston but there is great eating, great scenery, old stone houses and the longest fortifications in Europe. It's not the place for a beach holiday (for a sandy beach head to the nearby Prapratna cove) but there's plenty to see and the small-town atmosphere is enchanting. 〰️ 📸: @camera.in.my.hands

What is your choice for today's lunch? Octopus 🐙, a rooster 🐓or roast lamb 🐑 and 🐄 veal? 😍🍴 Tag a mate who can eat more then you but can't drink 🍷 more! 😂 〰️ 🎬 @saricevidvori

Double 🐬 click ❤ if your dream is to have a house on the beach, even just a little shack somewhere so you can wake up, have coffee, look at dolphins, be quiet and breathe the air! 〰️ 🇭🇷 Follow us ✔ and be sure to mention @Croatia in caption sentence on your #Croatia photos! 🌴 Share your adventure with us! 😍👍 〰️ The common 🐬 dolphins, as their name suggests, were the most numerous dolphins in the Adriatic and the Mediterranean Sea. Like the Mediterranean monk seal, the common dolphin is considered regionally extinct in the Adriatic Sea because for some decades there is no evidence of their persistence and reproduction, and observations are rare and usually involve only a few individuals. That is why meeting with this large group of common dolphins in the Adriatic is unique. 〰️ 📸: @gr_petra
