Read this. Read this. Read this.
I GUARANTEE you it will make a difference in your day, just as it did in mine... and if not, you will have at least learned something interesting.
Dashrath Manjhi was a man most thought to be crazy. After his wife passed away due to a lack of medical attention, Manhji decided no one else would suffer the same fate as his beloved.
Armed with only a hammer, chisel, and crowbar, Manjhi toiled day after day to carve his own way through a mountain.
Ridiculous. Insanity. Impossible.
Not to Manjhi. All of you have faced some sort of ridicule over the course of your respective careers. Yet, you persisted. Manjhi faced years worth of taunting, scoffing, and admonishing from his fellow villagers. Yet, he persisted.
Manjhi never stopped. 22 years of constant toil later, Manjhi successfully shortened the distance between his village and the next by over 3x, from 55km to 15km.
Time is the only thing we will never get back once it is spent. Manjhi remained resolute in his desire to finish what he had started; not just for himself, but for his wife and his village.
If you are reading this, I hope you got something out of it. Don’t stop. Even as it gets harder and you have no supporters, do. not. stop. Keeping going harder and faster and let your soul blaze even more radiantly than the day before.
Let the Universe itself know it cannot stop you; many times it will respect your resolve and commitment and grant you your wildest desires. -Sincerely, Angel S.
