I haven’t quite jumped on the #plasticfree bandwagon yet. While I’d love to, it is definitely more difficult going plastic-free in an RV. I mean, we love to boondock, and those times call for plasticware. 😂
I think I could go plastic-free in many areas, but my biggest struggle would probably be baggies. Baggies are super thin, lay flat, and take up a tiny bit of space. And I’m a cheapskate and wash many of my baggies and reuse them. 🤷🏻♀️ But here’s the problem...they’re flimsy, get holes, and break easily, so I’m still using tons of them anyway. And the freezer baggies only come in big sizes. Who needs a gallon size baggie to freeze 2 tbsp of diced up onions? 👎🏻 When I saw @smellyproofbags I knew I had to try them. So far we’ve used them for everything you see in the pictures plus diced onions, diced bell peppers, lemon wedges, shredded chicken, and wet swimsuits 😮. Yes, swimsuits. The bags come in extra small, small, medium, large, and extra large. There are many different sizes for all sorts of uses.
I’m seriously about to take all the playing cards out of their cardboard boxes (that the kids tear up anyway) and put them each in their own small Smelly Proof bag and line them up nice and neat in a bin. #ocdproblems😂
We’ve loved them so far, and they show no sign of holes or wear yet. I’ve reused the small and extra small ones numerous times already.
Two thumbs up!!👍🏻 👍🏻 #imsold #smellyproof #smellyproofbags #reusable #reusablebaggies #rvlife #rvlifewithkids #boondockinglife #plasticware #twothumbsup #ditchziplocbags
