Heyy there! MIA much?🙄 I’ve been missing in content for a while now, but I didn’t want to lead you to my mess, as in this period, i’ve been figuring out lots of different things, and lots has changed since
My second year of uni has been my major change in how I view many things, in that, weightloss and health.
so throughout my first year abroad, i’ve experiences a major rebound by being overly preoccupied by what I ate, which made my lifestyle very unhealthy as I would restrain myself for a while then gain twice as much.
this year, I finally built a healthy relationship with food, where i found the right balance. I would eat healthy on a daily basis, but not restrain myself when time comes (going out or special occasions).
By doing that, I found more energy to challenge my body again.
strength training asks for more energy, not just physical, but also mental.
when I labeled my eating as a « diet », that only drained all my energy away.
This year taught me to listen to my body, and eating better never felt so good.
My main goal today is to keep going on this journey with less ups and downs. To stay consistent, restraint and calories obsession is out of the picture.
At the gym, i’m working on getting rid of going on a cardio machine and watch the calories burn out. HIIT / strength training has always shown me the best results.
A slow and gradual weight loss is the best way to go, proof is right in front of my eyes.
Just got to say that to myself anytime I’m getting impatient.
