Being brave is not the absence of fear. Being brave is having that fear but finding a way through it.
Today is National Face Your Fears Day and I cant think of a better topic than that to talk about today.
Fear is a justifiable and objectively uncomfortable experience every single person on this planet I think experiences at some point in their life.
Me included. And it used to debilitate me. Hold me back. It took my voice when I wanted to speak. Took my expression, exuberance, love for life, experience, doing what my heart desired.
And it’s a small thing... that casts a large shadow. That we find ourselves consumed by. But a shadow has no power. It has no substance. It only blocks us from the light that makes up our world. It’s a veil. Not a wall.
It took me realising this, realising the fact that the only power fear had over me was what I let it have... that allowed me to finally live a life where fear and living could co-exist.
Hearing; ‘The fears we don’t fave become our limits’ and not being happy with that at all.
Fear can stand for two separate things depending on how we choose to view it;
Forget Everything And Run...
Face Everything And Rise.
Yes it’s uncomfortable. But then...
‘Fear is only temporary. Regret lasts forever.’ And more often than not what we fear most is what we most need to do. ☀️ Happy days ☀️ Bright bursting raspberry banana nicecream topped with @hearusraw Nutty Professor Bliss Ball (STEPH10), @ohana.acai.freo granola and a quenelle of @hnh_coconutyoghurt whipped coconut yoghurt 😍👌🙌☀️🙌
