🥊Sparring🥊
Great Saturday morning, no better way to start off the weekend than some solid sparring rounds. 
First we had the girls going & it was great to see them pick up the intensity getting 6 hard rounds in with Coach Kelly getting to join in on the action. It’s great seeing the weekly improvements, showing hard work & consistency gets results. 
We then had interclub sparring with the boys, thanks to Ed’s Shed & Southern Stars for coming along. 11 guys, 5rings going and all getting 12rounds of sparring done. The last fight night for the year is on the 16th November the guys will definitely be ready to put on a show. 🥊🥊

Since joining us in October 2017 Elli has smashed out over 400 classes and it's been an amazing journey witnessing her grow so much with her fitness and confidence 👊🏾

She always takes the time to help out others around her which is a credit to the kind and genuine person she is ❤️

Elli didn't officially enter our last Define Challenge where she sourced her own nutrition as she openly admits that she has previously struggled with the F45 Meal Plan.

The results that Elli achieved were amazing where she:
⬇️ 5kgs of Total Body Weight ⬇️ 5.4% Body Fat

We are so incredibly proud of the physical results Elli has achieved throughout her own personalised Challenge. To take the initiative to source her own nutrition to suit her needs demonstrates how motivated she was and she bloody nailed it 🙌🏾

🍳🍳 SARAH'S RECIPE CORNER 🍳🍳 The recipe I thought I’d share is a frittata which is essentially a baked omelette or crustless quiche. I thought I’d do frittata as it is a great wee recipe to have up your sleeve for the following reasons... ✅ it works as brunch, lunch or dinner
✅ there are so many flavour combinations
✅ it can be great on the macros
✅ it’s great hot but cold leftovers are a nice lunch the next day
✅ you can use up lots of odds and ends in the fridge (it’s our pre-holiday go-to)
✅ you use minimal pans in the kitchen (Andy’s favourite reason 😂) The recipe below is for bacon, pea, feta and mint because it’s so yum but you can really do anything... Brunch - chuck in some chunks of sausage and black pudding and serve with avocado and chilli jam 🥑 🌶 
Kid-friendly - cheese and ham. Win. 👧🏼👦🏻 Spanish - chorizo, red pepper, manchego 🇪🇸 Scottish - smoked salmon and asparagus 🐟 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (You get the idea)

This recipe serves two for lunch in a small saucepan. Double it in a large saucepan for more! 
BACON, PEA, FETA AND MINT FRITTATA

INGREDIENTS

5 eggs 🥚 
50ml water 💧 
Bacon 🥓 (6 strips of streaky... or so) cut into small pieces
2 handfuls of frozen peas 
4 spring onions sliced
50g feta cut into small chunks
Handful of mint leaves chopped up

1. Pre-heat oven to 200C (180 fan)
2. In saucepan over medium heat fry the bacon until it becomes a little crispy
3. Add the spring onions and peas and fry for a couple of minutes until the onions are a little softer and take off the heat
4. Beat the eggs with the water in a separate bowl and season (remember you already have bacon and feta in this recipe)
5. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and give it a wee mix 
6. Sprinkle the feta evenly across the top
7. Sprinkle the mint across the top
8. Place saucepan in the oven for 15-20 minutes (until the frittata is firm across the top)
9. Cut into wedges and serve with salad, veg, chips, potato wedges... whatever!
