No puedo decir que es fácil estar en el gym, que es fácil trabajar el cuerpo, porque aveces el dolor que sientes en cada zona de musculo de tu cuerpo aveces asusta para algunos y solo quieren  desertar.
Aprendí a sentir el dolor de cads musculo y hacerlo parte de mi mente, gozar del dolor porque sé que el ejercicio está bien ejecutado, aprendiendo y dandole con todo.
Me muevo por la disciplina mas que ña motivación, ya que puedes perder la motivacion, pero cuando tienes la disciplina, eres constante en todo.

Chest day is not my friend 😵🥵

After not doing bench almost the whole spring, I’m still pretty rusty. After my workout, I was honestly so physically tired. I’ve been working out really hard and I definitely haven’t been getting enough sleep 😴. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do tomorrow but I’m thinking some cardio just to keep my body moving 🏃🏼‍♀️🤗. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I went to the gym, but I was not happy about it. I’m weak and sore, and generally agitated, which is my response to anxiety and nerves about tmro. The same overhead squats at the same weight as the other day felt a hundred times heavier and it pissed me off bc it’s light AF, compared to what I normally do in general. I’m frustrated with the weight gain from my hormones post miscarriage and not gyming for a month bc of shitty pregnancy side effects pre-miscarriage. I’m tired of dealing with everything and it’s showing. So beyond ready for tmro to be over so I can heal and get back to being my normal, awesome self. 😔🤦‍♀️

@crossoversymmetry and I are going to become the BEST of friends. 
Rehab is never fun. But it’s even less desirable when you didn’t do the PREHAB to PREVENT the rehab. 
I wouldn’t say ‘CrossFit did this to me’. Because that wouldn’t be true. Only the decisions I make can ‘do’ things to me. I CHOSE to perform a movement that caused my shoulder problem not once, not twice, but THREE times over the course of a year. In case you’re wondering, the third time is NOT the charm here. I’ve now been unable to successfully complete traditional CrossFit workouts, among many other things, because of my shoulder. For exactly a year now. 
A year of modified workouts. A year of pain with pretty much anything I do. Six months of wish washy ‘treatment’ and PT with no real improvement. The only thing that ever made my shoulder feel strong again and took the pain away, was Crossover Symmetry. 
So here we are again. At least a year from the date I injured it for the third time. Because I just had to do those muscle ups. Because I was feeling great! Because my ego couldn’t handle NOT doing those muscle ups. Because I stopped doing my PREHAB to PREVENT rehab. 
Moral of the story folks: your body can do some amazing things. But only if you CHOOSE to treat it right and prepare it properly. It doesn’t matter what your sport is. Injury can happen in any setting. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

8 months ago I posted about being scared to get back under a squat rack after not squatting for a very long time (years) Today I make that girl feel silly 🙃 Incorprated some half squats today (cause I hear those help grow monster quads > greater hypertrophy by keeping tension in the quads through the lift 🤔) and dayummm I felt strong AF. Took some of the glutes and Hammies out so was able to push more weight since those are the weakness in my squat and it was nice not to tire myself out trying to push out of “the hole”. Def more focus on bodybuilding today than powerlifting since these obviously are not to depth and the focus was on keeping tension in the quads so took a narrower stance as well, but when you got goals you do whatever it takes. Obviously I won’t half squat all the time cause they have their cons but incorporated every now and then they can have their benefits too. Plus it’s a good ego boost when you need one 😜💪🏻. Do your research 🤓. My spotter called these “quad squats” so let’s get those f*ckers beastly! Stopped adding weight at 385 cause it got hard to keep my core strong but my legs were ready to keep going how bout that these quads are so much stronger than I thought! 385 for 5 ... Don’t under estimate yourself! (Current weight 156lbs ) Videos: 335 lbs > 355 lbs > 385 lbs
