1. Partners are crucial.
Over a week ago at the meet up I was speaking and shared my 5 pillars of success. In the next 5 posts, I would like to share them with you. I believe all 5 are very crucial if you want to build something significant – something great. .
When I started my first business, I did it alone, but at that time I was younger and had much more energy and time. Also, the company wasn't that big. Fast forward a few businesses, when I was building Startup Labs company, we started growing fast and were approaching 100 employees, I began to burn out. I had to work with a team in USA, Canada, and Belarus. I was working 24/7. It became a nightmare at one point, and I was about to give up. I had no time or an option of taking any time off; there was no one to replace me. .
If at that time I would have a partner, he would take my responsibilities for a week or two, and I could have maybe gone on vacation or take a break and unwind. But that wasn't an option, and I burned out. .
Currently, I have a few partners. First, we complete each other, and I don't have to do something I hate – I have partners who love to do the things I least enjoy doing. Second, in case I need to unwind and take a vacation, they can always manage my responsibilities for the time being. I realized about 2.5 years ago that partnership in business is very important. I had the chance to relax and unwind and take a vacation knowing my partners will handle the company. .
Do you believe in partnership? .
