Reps, sets and weights are in the video, but here are some tips! .
Exercise (1): If you cannot jump, just step up with your hands, if your struggling with the push-up modify it (on your knees) keep your glutes low! .

Exercise (2): These look easy but are so hard! Start light, core right, full range of motion, micro bend at your elbow. If it’s too hard go to 1-2LB hand weights! .
.
Exercise (3): Ahh!! Feel the burn here! The goal is deep push-ups, if you aren’t going low enough, modify the push-up! Keep your hands firm and strong so the kettlebells don’t fall down (use a heavy KB weight to stabilize you!) .
.
Exercise (4): Keep your elbows tight to your body, full extension, do not let the weights touch! .

| Repeat everything 3 times, rest for 60 seconds after all 4 exercises! .

Breaking down the golf mechanics:

I decided to build a map of some of the main movements in golf swing.

By breaking down the swing to smaller pieces and analyzing the different movements. It’s clear how complex the swing is. Golf swing acquires all 3 planes of motion and multiple functions. 
By understanding the complexity and art of the swing. As coaches, trainers, pt’s, movement professionals we need to be able analyze the best causes to enhance each individual players performance. 
In order to swing the club the most efficient way it’s recommended to include most of the movements in to your training.

The new kettlebell based class just went live! It was a blast 😁😁😁 We worked on the swing and goblet squat as foundation movements and on the RKC plank as the bracing method

The feedback: I do 2-3 60min bootcamp classes a week but I never felt so tired as after 25min here. They just don't show you how to do things properly... Try the challenge we finished on: 100 swings. Every time you gave a break do 10 goblet squats and a 10 slow breath plank 💀💀💀

One thing that always annoys me is people that load the leg press with a few hundred kilos and then don’t go anywhere near a full range of motion if the first bit of this video is you then drop the weight down and take your time with the reps and try and get as far down without your bum coming off the seat and curving your lower back. 
You will feel this exercise a lot more effective if you get a full range of motion and take your time with your reps.

 The arch of the feet have two main functions: to support body weight while we are standing and to work with other bones, ligaments, and tendons to produce a spring-like propulsion while we are walking or running .

The arch of the foot is made to absorb shock and compresses when our feet hit the ground, and the tendons and ligaments in the arch store elastic energy .
.  This energy is used in the second stage as the arch recoils and pushes us forward. The compression and recoil save a lot of effort, much like the bounce of a rubber ball and  can save and return up to 17% of the mechanical effort .

The foot is very well-designed by it self to withstand the loads of walking and running so why would you want to immobilize it???

To answer this question one must have a basic understanding on how the brain uses the information from our feet to activate our muscular chain. There are sensory receptors embedded in our skin that are sensitive to 1/100 mm of stretch and other that are sensitive to 3to 24g pf pressure. So while you wear shoes that mechanically support your arch, you are making these mechanoreceptors lazy, and the end result is a further collapsed arch. .

All of the fashionable shoes that we see today were created from for a very simple reason - to protect our feet. All of the cushioning shoes that we see today can be accredited to the running boom in the 1970s .

Tip Number 1 - Red Dots.

Use six red dots that you will alternate every six weeks. Position them in different areas of your house and working area at the level of your eyes. The red dots are meant to be used as a visual cue, so that when you see the dot, you become aware that your teeth are in contact. Immediately stop and move on to tip number two.

Tip Number 2 - Tongue Posture.

When catching yourself clenching, position your tongue on the roof of your pallet for approximately 1 to 2 minutes. This simple exercise will recondition your tongue posture and help you throughout your day by deceasing your clenching habits.

Tight adductors and inner thigh muscles can pull your knees into each other causing poor placement of the knees and even cause knee pain . It can even cause you to have patella dislocations. These stretches, coupled with VMO exercises, can help reduce injuries
.
. ⛔️Many groin injuries develop because of poor tissue quality through this area. What tends to occur is the adductors become fibrotic and develop adhesions because they are weak or overworked. A length tension assessment will be able to determine if you need soft tissue treatment in this area.
.
. 🙌 If your adductors are restricted, it is difficult to externally rotate at the the hip, meaning you produce less torque and do not recruit the correct muscles. This has a negative effect on total force produced. .
.

Another reason why it is important to address this area is because tight adductors can contribute to an anterior tilt - pushing your center of gravity forward and causes muscle tension. .. 👉🏼Try these 3 exercises  to release the adductors: .
1️⃣Half Kneeling Adductor Mobilisation - Slowly rock back to increase the stretch on the adductors and forward to ease off - 3 sets of 2 minutes each side.

2️⃣Spiderman + Adductor Stretch - This mobility drill is great for opening up the hips. This is great for stretching the hip flexors on the rear leg and adductors on the front - 3 sets of 8 reps each side. .

3️⃣ Foam Roll Adductors - Lying prone on the floor and turn your toe out to expose the adductors - 3 sets of 2 minutes each side. .

There was a lot of questions regarding an anterior pelvic tilt in yesterday’s Q&A .
Today let's take a deeper 👀 on what causes it and specifically how that affects the spine .
There are 3 major causes for an anterior pelvic tilt .

First your foot posture affects your hips, so if your foot posture is uneven, your hips will be uneven as well
.
Second, scars that are located above your diaphragm  push your center of gravity forward .
Third, mouth breathing and Class II occlusion, also push your center of gravity forward . . ✅In a normal spine, you will see a healthy amount of lordosis . . ❌In a lordotic spine, your lumbar curve is much more exaggerated .
So in conclusion, if your foot posture is asymmetrical, the hips will naturally follow. And if your pelvis is tilted and rotated, your spine will be tilted and rotated away from it’s ideal resting position! .
💡By understanding the links between your posture we can figure out what muscle patterns are holding you in a tilted position, and we can design a treatment plan to realign your pelvis and in turn your spine will naturally go back into balance! .

You can extend the spine backward, flex it forward, bend it to the left or right side and rotate it to the left or right. You may not put much thought into how your feet 👣 hit the ground when you walk or run and repeat the motion countless times throughout the day 🤔But did you know, that how your steps actually do matter for your joint health, especially if you participate in sports..like simply walking

One way your foot can move when you step is called overpronation. Overpronation means that your foot rolls inward as you walk ⤵️ If you overpronate, the outer edge of your heel hits the ground first, and then your midfoot immediately rolls inward, and as your arch flattens and stretches, your muscles, tendons, and ligaments are strained
.
. ⛔️ With overpronation,  the bones of the ankle are not optimally aligned with the foot, increasing the risk of ankle and ACL injuries .
.

A quick and easy way to see if you overpronate is to look at the bottom of your shoes for signs of wear and tear .
.
.

Another way to tell if you overpronate is to look at your shins. Try following the line of your bone from your knee all the way to your ankle. If this line leads toward the inside portion of your foot, you may be overpronating. Ideally, you want the line of your bone to lead to the first or second .

To fix this conditition you have to take it back to basics 🔤 and will need to check your Babinski reflex (see video in gallery) then you have to remove all arch supports form your shoes, and lastly, the fastest way to change foot posture is to get your self a pair of postural insoles to change your faulty foot habits

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is probably the most used joint in the body
It is estimated, in the USA that 25% of the population will experience some TMJ related symptoms .

Common symptoms of TMD include pain in the jaw, face, neck and upper back, headache, joint sounds or clicking and popping when opening or closing the jaw, ringing in the ears, jaw locking or difficulty with opening or closing, sensitive teeth, and chewing difficulty
.

📛 Clenching your teeth on a daily basis causes an overstimulation of the trigeminal nerve (cranial nerve V) but also changes the mechanics of your mandible on our maxillary .
.
.
🙌Clenching your teeth also causes a forward head posture, which actually places the condyles of the jaw deeper into their sockets, which can become a permanent  source of pain .
.
.
Imbalanced muscle forces around the jaw, including the suprahyoid muscles under the chin on the front side of the neck that open the jaw, are usually weaker compared to the masseter and temporalis, which close the jaw. The correction of this muscle imbalance to restore proper length tension relationships has a great effect on reducing pain, clicking, and deviation of jaw movement .

👉🏼Don’t know if your jaw deviates? Stand in front of the mirror and keep neutral posture with your head neither tilted up nor down. Once in neutral head on neck posture, open your mouth only as wide as you can and watch for any dysfunctional movement or lateral deviation. If the  mandible move out of midline for a moment and come back in, much like making a skewed S curve. This is deviation and it is dysfunctional. .

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is probably the most used joint in the body It is estimated, in the USA that 25% of the population will experience some TMJ related symptoms . . . Common symptoms of TMD include pain in the jaw, face, neck and upper back, headache, joint sounds or clicking and popping when opening or closing the jaw, ringing in the ears, jaw locking or difficulty with opening or closing, sensitive teeth, and chewing difficulty . . . 📛 Clenching your teeth on a daily basis causes an overstimulation of the trigeminal nerve (cranial nerve V) but also changes the mechanics of your mandible on our maxillary . . . 🙌Clenching your teeth also causes a forward head posture, which actually places the condyles of the jaw deeper into their sockets, which can become a permanent  source of pain . . . Imbalanced muscle forces around the jaw, including the suprahyoid muscles under the chin on the front side of the neck that open the jaw, are usually weaker compared to the masseter and temporalis, which close the jaw. The correction of this muscle imbalance to restore proper length tension relationships has a great effect on reducing pain, clicking, and deviation of jaw movement . . . 👉🏼Don’t know if your jaw deviates? Stand in front of the mirror and keep neutral posture with your head neither tilted up nor down. Once in neutral head on neck posture, open your mouth only as wide as you can and watch for any dysfunctional movement or lateral deviation. If the  mandible move out of midline for a moment and come back in, much like making a skewed S curve. This is deviation and it is dysfunctional. . . .
