It's so hard to believe that in 24 hours she will be a high school graduate. I literally blinked, and here we are.
If you're wondering why I'm sooooooo proud of her, this a girl that missed the entire first week of 9th grade due to being in the hospital and another 2 weeks in the middle of the year. She would text or call me from the bathroom at least 3x a week begging me to come get her during 9th and 10th grade because of anxiety attacks (I would have to either go up to the school and talk her through it or talk with her over the phone and get her through it). If you know Skylar and her story during those two years then you'll understand why I'm so stinking proud of her! She pushed through with the Lord's help.
By her Junior year, it was like a switch flipped, and she's been thriving ever since. High school has not been a walk in the park for her, but she did it! And she's finished strong! Despite the obstacles, she's graduating with 30 college credits, 2 completed pathways, 3 cords and such a bright future ahead of her. I'm so proud of my babygirl and yes, you'll hear me cheering her on when she walks across that stage to get her diploma tomorrow night 👏👏👏👏
God is so good, and He gets all the glory!!! 📸 By my bestie, Kristy 😊
