Which lesser known small town in a capital city do you like the most?
#Zemun, which was a separate town until the early 1930s, was absorbed into #Belgrade and is now a municipality in the capital city of Serbia.
The old town charm of Zemun is so adorable; despite being a part of the city, it has its own identity. The streets are flanked with small, colourful houses and the Danube is just a stone's throw away. That makes it totally worth visiting. There are several things one can occupy themselves with in this Croatian-influenced town including a walk by the quay or a climb to the Gardoš hill.
Costs Involved - You shall have to take a bus or a bus + tram from Belgrade to reach Zemun. That means it'll cost you roughly 300 RSD i.e. 200 INR, €2.5 or almost $3.
